Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
GigLogix ("GigLogix," "we," "us," or "our") is a SaaS platform for event production and AV rental management, operated by Harris Technology Services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the GigLogix application at giglogix.app and its subdomains.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, work email address, company name, workspace slug.
- Business data: jobs, clients, quotes, invoices, equipment, crew schedules, and other operational records you enter into the platform.
- Billing information: billing email address, payment method details (processed by Stripe — we do not store raw card data).
- Communications: bug reports, support requests, and messages sent through the platform.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken within the app.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and error logs.
- Authentication data: identity tokens issued by Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for single sign-on. We do not store passwords.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the GigLogix platform.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
- Send transactional emails (invoices, quotes, crew call sheets, payment reminders).
- Send service notifications and weekly digest emails (opt-out available in account settings).
- Respond to support requests and fix bugs.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal data or your clients' data to third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with:
- Microsoft Azure — cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, database, authentication).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- QuickBooks (Intuit) — accounting integration (only when you connect your QuickBooks account).
- Azure Communication Services — transactional email delivery.
- Gusto — payroll integration (only when connected).
- Meraki (Cisco) — WiFi service management (only for Internet Services add-on).
5. Data Retention
We retain your workspace data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, during which you may export your data. Financial records (invoices, payments) are retained for 7 years to comply with accounting regulations. You may request deletion of personal data at any point; financial records required by law will be anonymized rather than deleted.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest (Azure SQL), role-based access control, and multi-tenant data isolation enforced at the application layer. All authentication is handled by Microsoft Entra ID.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") of your personal data.
- Data portability (export your workspace data in CSV format from within the app).
- Opt out of marketing communications (unsubscribe link in every email).

8. Cookies
GigLogix is a web application that uses session cookies for authentication and local storage for user preferences (theme, column visibility). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
GigLogix is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify workspace owners via email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of GigLogix after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
