Honest picks

When another tool wins

We’d rather you pick the right tool than churn in three months.

Pick Rentman

You want a long-established rental and crew tool. It’s also the safer bet if you bill in several currencies, since a GigLogix workspace uses one.

Pick Flex

Flex already runs your warehouse well. Switching software is real work. Don’t do it for features you won’t use.

Pick StayFi

You need guest WiFi and guest marketing. GigLogix doesn’t do guest WiFi, and if you don’t rent AV, schedule crew, or send quotes, it would sit unused.

Stay on spreadsheets

You run a handful of events a month with one or two people and can hold the whole calendar in your head. Free is hard to beat.

Pick GigLogix when

  • You rent AV and run events with crew
  • Gear and crew conflicts keep surprising you
  • Clients should approve and sign quotes online, with no account
  • You want per-plan pricing instead of per-user fees

What GigLogix doesn’t do

  • No native iPhone or Android app. It runs in your phone’s browser, camera scanning included.
  • One currency per workspace. Online card payments are in USD.
  • Rentman import is one-way. Nothing syncs back to Rentman.
  • Event WiFi isn’t available to your workspace yet. It’s coming soon.
  • No SAML single sign-on. Sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google, plus two-factor.

FAQ

Comparison questions

What is the best AV rental software?

It depends on what you run. If you only do rentals, Rentman and Flex are both established choices. If you only do guest WiFi, StayFi fits. GigLogix is for shops that do rentals, crew, quotes, and billing, and want them in one place. If you run a few events a month, a spreadsheet may still be enough.

How is GigLogix priced compared to Rentman?

GigLogix is priced per plan: Starter is $49 a month and Professional is $149 a month, each with a published user limit. Rentman charges a base fee plus a fee per power user. Our Rentman page shows the math for a 10-person team.

Can I try GigLogix before switching?

Yes. Starter and Professional come with a 14-day free trial and no card. You can import clients, equipment, and venues from CSV or Excel, or pull clients, equipment, projects, and invoices straight from Rentman.
