GigLogix

For AV rental shops

Software for small AV rental shops.

You have 3 to 15 people, a warehouse, and a calendar that’s mostly in someone’s head. GigLogix is software for AV rental shops that want jobs, gear, quotes, and invoices in one place, without a month of setup.

Free 14-day trial. No card.

The problem

The spreadsheet worked, until it didn’t

One tab for gear, one for jobs, a group text for crew, and quotes in Word. It’s fine at 5 events a month. At 30, things start slipping.

What we hear from shops your size:

  • Nobody’s sure which subwoofer is on which truck
  • The quote had last year’s prices on it
  • Gear came back and nobody checked it in
  • The invoice went out two weeks late

A normal day

One order, start to finish

Here’s a single rental moving through GigLogix. Times are just an example.

  1. 8:30

    A call comes in

A client wants two speakers, a mixer, and a projector for Saturday. You add a job with the date and venue, then pull the gear from inventory. If anything is already out that day, GigLogix warns you right there.

  2. 9:00

    The quote goes out

Start from a job template, adjust the lines, and send a link. The client opens a branded quote on their phone. No PDF attachments, no DocuSign.

  3. 11:15

    The client approves

They sign with a finger, or ask for a change right on the quote. Once they approve, the job moves to Confirmed on your calendar.

  4. 2:00

    Someone pulls the order

The pack list comes straight from the quote. Your warehouse person scans each item with their phone’s camera and checks it off. No barcode printer or scanner gun needed.

  5. Monday

    The gear comes back

Scan it back in. If something comes back broken, write up a damage invoice on the same job. Then turn the quote into an invoice your client can pay by card or Apple Pay.

Switching

Moving off spreadsheets or Rentman

You don’t have to retype your inventory. Bring what you have, then run your next few jobs in GigLogix during the trial.

  • Import clients, equipment, and venues from CSV or Excel
  • One-way import from Rentman to bring your records over
  • Owners and admins can export the whole workspace (JSON and CSV) whenever they want
  • Crew use a phone browser. Nothing to install.

Who built it

Made by an AV company, for AV companies

Harris Production Services has run AV and events out of Atlantic City, NJ and West Chester, PA since 2017. Today that’s 800+ events a year from 4 warehouses, and GigLogix is the software they run on every day. Read their story.

FAQ

Questions small shops ask

Is GigLogix a good fit for a small AV rental shop?

That is who it is built for. Starter covers 5 users, 100 jobs a month, and 200 equipment units. Professional adds the crew portal, time tracking, pack lists, and room for 20 users. Start on Starter and move up when you add crew.

We run everything in spreadsheets. How hard is the switch?

Export your equipment and client lists to CSV or Excel and import them. Then add your next few weeks of jobs by hand. That is usually enough to see whether it fits before your trial ends.

We are on Rentman. Can we bring our data?

Yes, with a one-way import from Rentman. It is not a live two-way sync, so plan a cut-over date and run new jobs in GigLogix from then on.

Do I need barcode scanners or a label printer?

No. GigLogix scans barcodes and QR codes with your phone’s camera, in the browser. You can use the labels you already have.

What happens if I book the same gear twice?

GigLogix warns you when a unit, or a part inside a kit, is already on another job for those dates. It flags the conflict and lets you decide. It does not block the booking for you.
