What it does
Inventory you can trust
Most gear problems are small: a missing cable, a speaker booked twice, a pack list that doesn’t match the truck. GigLogix helps you catch them before load-out.
Every unit, by serial number
Track each piece of gear on its own, with its serial number and barcode, so you know exactly which mic went to which show.
Availability by date
A timeline shows where each item is booked, what’s free, and what’s out for maintenance before you promise it to a client.
Conflict warnings
If a job needs gear that’s already out on overlapping dates, including a part of a kit, GigLogix warns you on the job.
Kits and packages
Group the things that always go out together, like a PA package or a lighting kit. Availability checks every part inside.
Scan with your phone
Barcode tracking for rental gear with the camera on the phone you already have. It runs in the browser: no scanner, no app.
Maintenance and damage
Block out maintenance windows so a unit isn’t booked while it’s on the bench. Log damage on return and bill it on a damage invoice.
How it works
From shelf to truck
Set it up once, then every job uses the same inventory.
- 01
Bring in your gear
Import equipment from a CSV or Excel file, or use the one-way import from Rentman.
- 02
Tag and group it
Add serial numbers and barcodes to each unit, and build kits for the packages you rent most.
- 03
Book it on jobs
Add gear to a job or quote. GigLogix checks the dates and flags anything already booked.
- 04
Scan it out and back
Generate the pack list from the quote, then scan or check off each item as it leaves and returns.
Pack lists are on Professional and Venue. Everything else here comes with every plan.
Who it’s for
For anyone who owns the gear
If gear leaves your building and has to come back, you need to know where it is.

FAQ
Inventory questions
How much equipment can I track?
Starter covers 200 equipment units, Professional covers 1,000, and Venue is unlimited. The 14-day trial allows 100. A unit is one physical item, like one speaker with its own serial number.
Do I need a barcode scanner?
No. Crew scan barcodes and QR codes with a phone camera inside the GigLogix web app. There is nothing to install and no dedicated scanner or barcode printer to buy.
Will GigLogix stop me from double-booking gear?
It warns you instead of blocking the booking. When gear or a kit part is already booked on overlapping dates, the job shows a conflict so you can swap it, sub-rent, or go ahead knowingly.
Which plan includes pack lists?
Inventory, barcodes, kits, availability, and conflict warnings come with every plan. Pack lists with check-off and scanning start on Professional.
Can I import my current inventory?
Yes. Import equipment, clients, and venues from CSV or Excel files. If you are coming from Rentman, there is a one-way import.
Import your inventory and try it.
Load a spreadsheet of your gear into the free trial and book it on a real job. No card needed.
